The SlingerlandĀ® Screening Test simulates the tasks of a classroom in order to assess how a child is receiving information from visual and auditory sources, retaining it in short term memory, and reproducing it in written or oral form. The purpose of the screening is to identify children who exhibit specific perceptual motor behavior that may interfere with development in reading, writing and spelling. The test also shows the strengths and weakness of the learning modalities of the child.

Screenings are available for children as young as 6 years old, if they have completed kindergarten, through college age students.

Cost for this screening is $350.00, and can be scheduled by calling Austen-Coley at (903) 234-1800, or contact us by email, info@austen-coley.com
